The main active ingredient in Turmeric Complex is turmeric, which is colored orange naturally. We do not use any artificial colors in our supplements.

The capsule is made from bovine gelatin, so the product overall is not vegan. However, the contents are vegan-friendly and can be taken without the capsule.

Yes, Turmeric Complex is dairy free, however, it is processed in the same facility as some dairy-containing products.

Turmeric Complex does not contain any of the so-called “Big 8” allergens. These are: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat and soy, however, it's processed in the same facility where these ingredients are handled.

This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.

Curcumin has been shown to reduce the therapeutic efficacy of cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) in animal studies. In vitro research revealed that curcumin decreased camptothecin-induced death of cultured breast cancer cells. Curcumin might also interfere with the absorption and efficacy of the chemotherapy drug irinotecan, used to treat colon cancer. The concurrent use of curcumin with these agents should be avoided.
